STEP Maths Tutoring done right - 1 week

STEP marks the transition to advanced Maths, and so is a test of the qualities and mathematical maturity of the applicant. 

There aren't any secrets, you just need to get your hands dirty and struggle, slowly maturing over time. This is why pre scheduled 1 hour long lessons are inefficient - You want help as soon as you've fought with an idea to the extent where you can't make more progress yourself. Then, receiving just enough guidance at this point to help you arrive at understanding yourself is what solidifies ideas and develops you.

This is what I will do for you. You'll have constant access to me: a current Cambridge Maths student that has achieved awards in both sets of Tripos exams taken, and recognised by the London Maths Society as one of the top 50 most promising Undergraduates in the UK. [CV available on request]

This constant access to me will be via a discord server, in which you can:

• Ask and receive help on problems / theory from me at any time
• Have your solutions marked with feedback to improve your exposition
• At your discretion, I will help you learn IA Maths material to improve you maturity and exposure
• Ask for advice and ask about Cambridge life in general
  

[My active hours are broadly 7am to 7pm GMT, but I'm flexible]

(I also feel strongly that tutors take advantage of the difficulty of STEP, often charging upwards of £100/hr and in cases they haven't even passed STEP themselves!

Ultimately, the work comes from you, but the most useful support is a guiding light when you need it, not churning out private lessons mindlessly.

For this reason, the cost is about £10/day to use me as much as you need!)
